Keyboard to iOS? Yes!

Did you know that you can use a keyboard (without Bluetooth), to control iOS device? Probably you didn’t. We’re going to show you how it’s done.

Supplies needed:

• An iOS device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch)
• A keyboard (wired or USB-wireless, such as a Logitech K400r (Price on Amazon: $20))
• The Camera Connection Kit from Apple ($40)

Now here is how it’s done:

 

Connect the Camera Connection Kit into your iOS device (don’t worry if it says “Not Available” or similar). Once connected, connect the USB Keyboard receiver into the Camera Connection Kit already into the device. Turn on your keyboard, and start typing away!
